Marti Healy has been thoroughly enchanted with animals all her life. She has also enjoyed a long career as a professional writer, serving as senior copywriter for The Design Group, Inc.,
since 1976.
During a Bible study class at her church, Marti discovered a remarkable connection between many Christian concepts and the observations she'd made over the years about the cats and dogs who have shared her home. This collection of essays is the result.
A resident of Aiken, South Carolina, Marti currently lives with cats Katie and Sparkey, and dogs Sophie and Teddy. She is a member of First Presbyterian church in Aiken, and has developed a pet ministry program that is used by a variety of denominations throughout the country.
